Lucy Electric Power Engineering Internship

I worked for a leading electrical switchgear company Lucy Electric, designing and manufacturing secondary power distribution products such as transformers, High Voltage (28kV) ring main units, and 100kV overhead switchgear. I spent 3 months working in the factory, doing a CAD course in Siemens NX CAD, Quality Control and Assurance, Prototyping, Machining and tin Electroplating. I learnt a lot about all aspects of the engineering process and how to operate in a business context.

Below are a few pictures of my experience and my weekly log of tasks.
